Odds of Breaking into IB
Hi guys, Currently studying at a non-target in Scotland and doing an internship in project finance. I have 2 years left of uni and was wondering if I actually have a shot at an ib internship in London next summer? If not is it worth going down the route of doing a masters at somewhere like St Andrews or Edinburgh? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Summers in London are tough to get for everyone, even top targets. But definitely still apply.
A masters is a good idea especially from a non-target. However, Andrews and Edinburgh aren't target unis so you should consider others.
I know they aren’t targets but they are a semi-target and place quite well. I’m not opposed to doing a masters in England it is just that staying in Scotland for a masters would be a lot better financially for me
