Product Control To Internal Audit

Hi All,

I am a Chartered Accountant and I am currently working in PC for a large IB for last 5+ years. Recently got an offer for an IA position in another IB. In this role I have to audit various PC teams.

Was wondering if this kind of move made much sense? Has anyone else made a move like this and could you please discuss the pros and cons of such a move especially in terms of long term career growth.
