Re-Recruit Advice (CALLING EVERYONE THAT RE-RECRUITED IN THE PAST)

Regardless of having an offer or not, what are some general re-recruiting advice if you are hypothetically able to secure interviews for FT Associate positions post-MBA?

I've received mixed feedbacks from candidates who did re-recruit in prior years. Some have told me the interviews do get a bit more technical so definitely freshen up on 400 guide. Others have told me they weren't asked any technicals but their was a big focus on being able to explain deal experience from summer internship, why this bank vs bank you interned at, why a different coverage/product group, etc...

I would think their would be less of a focus on technicals since you already went through that to secure the internship but I could be mistaken. Please let me know!

What would you do different? I'm sure reaching out and networking to see openings is a must, but in terms of interviewing? My understanding is if you do get an interview you are give a short heads up so I'm trying to stay ready.
