What factors would cause you to decline an offer?

Doing buyside recruiting now and whilst I want to leave / hate IB, I have turned down offers for the below reasons. 

In order:

1. Interest in the work / would I actually enjoy it (FWIW I think the answer is NO for any IB, but some are more tolerable than others.) 
2. Earnings trajectory (what's my ceiling there, and can I exit elsewhere where I'd make more long term)
   1. This one is super important. Don't take the first offer just because it's the first offer. These decisions have very material long-term implications on your most likely earnings trajectory. Yes there are outliers, I wouldn't be on myself being an outlier in this pragmatic calculus
3. Near-term Comp
4. Culture

Had an offer for WM at a top BB. Didn't really want to be pigeonholed at the start of my career. 

Comp should be the last thing on your mind.
