Real Estate or Trading?

I have reached a sort of cross roads and am seeking advice. The background information is as follows: I am currently a sophomore who taught myself to trade FX while in high school. Additionally, I passed the Series 3; So my primary interests lies in commodities trading and since I have been studying Russian language, I would be even more interested in physical commodity trading.

Nonetheless, I spent the previous summer working in valuation at a large commercial real estate firm. From my work at the firm it seems like a great time to enter CRE. Though, I would be most interested in brokerage or investment sales.

I feel that I may not be able to advance as fast as I'd like in trading since I lack a mathematics/engineering/comp sci degree... However, I do not want to target a career in real estate and totally nix my chances at ever working in the area in which my first and most extreme interests developed. Advice? Thoughts?

Was similar to you in that I wanted to be a trader out of college. Realised when I got the job that there is zero exit opportunities on top of the fact that trading is a dying biz. Have heard physical commods trading is noway near as profitable as it used to be but this business still remains the fundamdental trading business. If you have no interest in real estate, simply don't do it.

What do you actually enjoy doing. If you are happy to sit at a desk and buy the ones and sell the two's twelve hours a day, trading is for you .... if not, try and get a role within commodities where you learn about the business itself.
