Recruiting fucks with your head wayyy too much
Got a rejection from EB and will be interning at mid-tier balance sheet bank for this upcoming summer in IBD. Was really down and confused, but I just realized that it doesn't matter, I made it in.
Recruiting does this weird thing where it's like you forget your whole goal was to break in somewhere decent, and deep down you know that's all that really matters for the first few years.
Just a weird thought lol
Sounds like a cope to me friendo
Didn’t EBs wrap up a while ago?
Prob London or EMEA
That’s bc you’re a prestige chasing whore. Be happy with what you have.
Try harder and recruit up for full time. You clearly care about prestige be lucky you got a second chance and this isn’t your first role post grad
Yeah if you derive your self worth from prestige would rerecruit for FT then study for PE at the same time / right after so you be prepared when they kick off on day 1
