Got a rejection from EB and will be interning at mid-tier balance sheet bank for this upcoming summer in IBD. Was really down and confused, but I just realized that it doesn't matter, I made it in.
Recruiting does this weird thing where it's like you forget your whole goal was to break in somewhere decent, and deep down you know that's all that really matters for the first few years.

Yeah if you derive your self worth from prestige would rerecruit for FT then study for PE at the same time / right after so you be prepared when they kick off on day 1
