Research or Sales Internship for a career in IB?
Hello everyone,
I'd like to get straight to the point. My dream is to get into IB. I have had one experience in Equity Research at a boutique firm. Recently, I received an internship offer for a Sales position from a major company, as well as an offer for an Equity Research position (in the same company).
Now, I am uncertain whether I should accept these offers or continue seeking opportunities in Investment Banking. If I do decide to accept one of these offers, which would be the better choice: Sales or Research?
I am filled with doubts and haven't received any helpful advice so far. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could provide some guidance on this matter.
Thanks, and have a great day! :)
