Route into IBD from Non-Big 4 Valuation Advisory

Hi,

Was wondering how the kind people on this forum would rate the possibility of moving from a valuation advisory role (at a large, non-Big 4 firm) into IBD?

I'm nearing the end of my MSc and this is the only offer on the table. I am quite pleased with the brand name and have networked enough to know what I will be doing come the Jan 2022 start date (PPA analysis, goodwill impairment, etc).

I know that Big 4 transaction services (TS) is a solid entry-point in London and would love to learn how/why this is the case, especially compared to valuation advisory.
