Seeking for post MBA career advice: starting from senior associate at Big Four

Recently I got an offer from Big Four's finance advisory team (not financial DD team). Since I don't have much related experience, I will have to start from senior associate role, which is only 2 years ahead from the most junior role. After researching on Linkedin, I have seen many people who started their career from this team transferring into top tier IB or PE after MBA.

Since I have already done my MBA, if I start from this role, will it still be possible to transfer to IB or PE after a few years? The main point is that I won't have the "summer internship" opportunity, which is how many people converted their big four experience to full time IB/PE job.

Would like to hear any advice / thoughts. Appreciate your sharing!
