Should I do another internship?
Bit of background: I'm an economics student at University College Dublin.
Currently in London doing a summer internship in probably the second largest financial institution in the world. Unfortunately I left it too late to apply for IB in the company so I am doing what is called the executive management summer internship.
I do my final year at university and the I could probably walk into the exec management graduate programme. However, my heart lies in IB.
So would a first or a high 2:1 in econ and an internship look good on a cv, coupled with my enthusiasm for finance?
Does anyone reckon I should apply for another internship, in IB this time, next summer even though I will be graduating?
Or apply to 30 or 40 odd investment banks for graduate positions?
Also considering a masters in finance.
Sorry for rambling on.
