Signing Bonus Clawback and Lateraling
Hey guys,
Do you have to give back your signing bonus if you leave in less than a year for a rival bank? I am asking because I have heard that banks terminate your contract on the spot when they find out you have an offer at a rival bank, however, my sign-on bonus clawback clause says "if you voluntarily leave the firm or give notice of resignation". So I am wondering if you get to keep the bonus given that it's them who terminate you
This is in London btw, not sure if its different overseas. Would appreciate if you guys could share your experiences
