Sociology or statistics for investment banking??

I'm going to choose my gcse options but I'm confused whether as to I should take sociology or statistics if I want to become an ibanker/trader, I have asked my dad who's an ibanker and he said statistics, then I asked my sister who's a trader and after that I asked my cousin who's at Deutche and even he said sociology so now I'm just confused and need opinions, should I take sociology or statistics, helpp!

Sociology is ridiculously easy even if it an A Level exam. From what I remember, Stats was an AS Level Exam.

Definitely take Stats over Sociology (even if Stats is an AS level exam) because it will teach you to think numerically in terms of probabilities.

Those Sociology majors are outliers. Do yourself a favor and take the Stats course.

Stats.

And assuming you want to be a REAL trader, not just an execution or flow trader for a firm, you are going to need a lot more math and cs than just stats.
