Summer Analyst Visa delay London
Hi everyone,
I am currently an incoming intern at a London based bank and the programme is starting early next week. I am based in continental Europe and am an EU citizen. So far I still am to receive my visa in order to be able to work in the UK this summer. The bank has used the priority option, however the visa is currently delayed.
I am scared the visa won’t be approved on time or at all for the summer internship, anyone have any previous experience with this and are there any recommended actions to take?
Had the same in 2022 when the Ukraine war started. Was for an off cycle internship in London. Was meant to start in March. Ultimately could start in July. Waited almost 5 months.
Sorry brother but maybe not comprable as back then there was a lot of backlog from Ukraine people entering the UK as “refugees”
What's with the "refugees"? These people were fleeing war, that's the literal definition of a refugee, unlike the economic immigrants from places like Algeria or Pakistan we're used to seeing.
