Hello all.
After several months in to my B4 consulting role (IT), I am realizing that this side of the industry is not in line with my longterm goals. To make matters slightly more complicated, I am on assignment in a different country (NA to EMEA).
Over the past few weeks I have gradually grown more disillusioned with my current position and have been kindling the idea of jumping ship and moving to London. This raised a few questions I wanted to ask the forums;
- How will I be perceived for applying for new positions while having been employed at my current employer for less than 6 months?
- How to explain a complete career pivot to analysts, hiring managers (Fintech consulting to Real Estate/IB)
- Does anyone have any tips for breaking in to London? (EU citizen with BSc Finance from US).
