Tips for final round Corp Dev Analyst interview/case study?
Hi all,
I have a final round interview tomorrow for a Corp Dev Analyst role at a F100. I've already been through an HR screen, hiring manager interview, and live modeling assessment & review with the Corp Dev Director. Tomorrow will be a 1 hour fit interview / 1 hour case study (25-30 minutes to review/analyze case, 30-35 minutes to present findings w/ small slide deck) with the Corp Dev Director & Sr. Director.
Any suggestions on how to prep or what to include in the findings? The details were a little light - I'm not sure if they'll be providing a full CIM that I'll need to quickly skim and analyze or something smaller given the short time to analyze & make a short presentation on a potential acquisition.
I'm reviewing the company's latest 10-K, 10-Q and earnings call now and figure my analysis will be based around the target's products & margins, geographic markets, and potential synergies and risk factors.
I'm excited about the role (they're active in M&A; recent multi billion dollar acquisition), but I would be coming in with way more experience than a typical Analyst hire (3 years in equity research & 5 years in commercial real estate consulting/transaction advisory) so I think that will be part of the "fit" consideration whether I'm comfortable with the step back in compensation and low status on the totem pole.
Thanks in advance I'll check back later.
