Tips on highlighting technical skills in IB networking calls?

Scheduled to talk with a few MD’s from various smaller banks in the upcoming weeks and super excited about it. However, I do come from non-target so I’m assuming they’re going to question/confirm my qualifications.
I’m going into senior year and I’ve done three statement analysis on around 12 companies all concentrated in 3 sectors. Valued at free cash flow to the firm & equity, plus residual operating income. All models have unique drivers (interest margin & fee volume for banks, oil & nat gas spread for energy. etc.)
I’m fully prepared to walk through each model but is there a “best” way to highlight these skills without seeming like I’m pulling stuff out of my ass?
The reason I ask is because almost all of the summer IB analysts I’ve talked to respond with an “ummmm” then a long pause when I ask them about three statements they’ve done. I’m able to crank one of these models out in an afternoon. Any other tips on talking to MD’s/networking into this industry is appreciated!
