Transitioning from recruitment back to finance

Hi guys, I started in credit finance, left at the GFC around 08 and moved into recruitment where I’ve worked to date on senior and lower level finance roles. I’m looking at moving back to core finance leveraging my BD background. I was thinking sales, deal origination to facilitate a move back but wanted to open this up to see if anyone has done something similar or has any other broad suggestions. Cheers all
