What lateral is worth it
Is a lateral from MM IB (one of RBC/Jefferies/Houlihan) to a BB (one of Barclays/CS/Citi/Bofa/UBS) worth it? Getting conflicted advice from my friends. I'm in a strong group at the MM that places well enough into MM PE but I want to switch somewhere I have a shot at UMM/MF and I guess build my personal brand.
Starting to reach out to alum at GS/JP/MS/Lazard/Evercore but wondering if I should broaden my target list of banks.
