A Rookie here, looking to become the Master.

Hey everyone, I'm Angel De la O based in NJ (USA) from Hispanic Background (Ecuador). Before joining WSO, I worked as an Amazon driver for over two years after college, while self-studying financial education, AI applications (prompt engineering), and investing in emerging markets like crypto.

My short-term goal is to land a junior role aligned with my personality and strengths — likely in areas like equity research, asset management or private credit — while increasing my income and investment capacity. Long-term, I see myself building a business or financial agency once I gain solid industry experience.

I joined this program because I’ve spent the last few years trying to figure things out alone and realized it’s time to follow a proven path with structure and mentorship. This is a serious investment for me, and I plan to make the most of it.

Happy to connect and open to practicing interviews or networking — especially if anyone’s based in NJ and knows of live events. Let’s get to work.
