allow me to introduce myself...

Hi everyone! I am sixteen years old, I have been researching tocks since eighth grader and have been an avid trader since ninth grade. I have made just about every mistake possible, but I am a better trader because of it. I am trying to increase my social network of likeminded individuals, and that is why I'm here. At the moment, I am harassing everyone I come across in the financial industry looking for an internship this summer in NYC. I have strongly considered becoming an investment banker, but venture capital seems pretty alluring too.... maybe more so. I live and breath finance, and nobody around me seems to understand. I am going to remain anonymous for the sake of my imminent professional career. Thanks for reading!

Welcome! Great that you've found your path at such a young age. My advice is if you want to get into finance, focus on getting top grades at school, and keep up your interests in finance on the side. Right now you might think you are in the minority, but when the time comes for you to start making moves in finance, everyone you are competing with for jobs will profess to live and breath finance. The single biggest differentiator you can influence to set you up for success is your grades. Good luck.

Say what, grades? I'm pretty sure everybody that applies has top grades. LOL.
