been trolling for long enough...

So I've been a lurker here just reading different threads getting information about different topics. I've started posting on here and am trying to become an active member so I figured I shall introduce myself.

I am Skinnayyy and I am here to learn, and hopefully end up working on wall street sooner than later. I have some previous experience in PWM, but that is not for me. My heart lies in M&A, which isn't helpful, because that's not exactly easy to get in to, when you have a bachelors degree in Computer Science. I've always been good in the computer area, but after working in the IT industry (currently, can't wait to leave) and getting my degree, I've come to the realization... I CAN'T STAND IT! So now I'm trying to transfer to the IB field.

In part of my transition to make myself a little bit more marketable, especially since I have a CS degree from a non target, I'm starting my MBA this fall at Fordham University. It's not exactly an Ivy or anything like that, but it is in NYC and is ranked nationally.

In my spare time I play ice hockey, soccer, golf, run, play some games on the ps3, play with my boston terrier puppy, and spend time with fiance'. Ever since moving to NYC I gave up a couple of hobbies temporarily as they are not cost effective here. Those are my motorcycle (which brought a tear to my eye when I sold it) and my car which I modified... A lot. (was happy to sell that though) I know once I can get a decent enough job and pay down some debt, those hobbies will be back, with a vengeance!

I look forward to getting to know you fellow monkeys and I'll be seeing some of you soon as I'll be attending the WSO conference! It sounds like a good time and a great networking opportunity which can only help my chances of breaking in.

Feel free to ask me anything. I'm not shy at all and will answer any questions that I know the answer to.
