Don't know where to Start with finance

Hello! I recently discovered Wall Street Oasis and I also ironically recently grew interested in banking and finance. I started school as a physics major but had a tough time freshman year, and as a result averaged a very low gpa 3.0. I am currently a sophomore from a target Ivy and have attempted to join "Early Identification" programs but have failed to have any success. I think it is mainly because of the fact that I don't have any finance on my resume, because many didn't ask for gpa. Also I haven't gotten a finance internship this summer and with any luck I'll have my gpa in 3.1-3.3 range by fall of junior year, now that I have switched my major to English, but I still think that range is pretty low...Does anyone have any advice?

I'm not sure what you're asking. This forum is a goldmine of information. Search for whatever you need an read about it. If you can't find any information that you require (which I doubt will happen if you research thoroughly), I would recommend you asking more specific questions. "You're interested in finance and banking"... that doesn't say anything. Are you talking about IBD, ER, S&T, HF? Finance covers a very wide spectrum.

I would certain rewrite what you are asking for, the financial industry is large and there is so much information here to guide you through it, just look at the forum titles this place has so much information.
