Finance student here from non target school.

Hello, everybody I am from a non target school here in NYC. Student from my school do get internship from places like Chase, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Oppenheimer, and so on.

Anyways I started college a little late. I am 26 and right after high school I went to work at the same place. I worked in a small business retail store. I started as a cashier and then as a manager. I have 8 years of experience with the same place.

I started college in 2016 which was 2 years ago. I didn't apply to many positions as an intern as I thought someone will accept me with 8 years of experience. First year I got no offers from the 20 places I applied for. Next year I applied for 30 places and only got a late call from two places which wouldn't help me with finance. One was to create marketing flyers and the other was to work for the government to file papers.

So now Spring 2018 I didn't go to college as I needed to save up. I also decided to leave my job 6 months ago that I have been work for years. I thought maybe I should apply for a retail bank position and start to network there. I applied for places located near wall street and received no offers from Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi, BOA, TD Bank, and so on as a bank teller.

I am worried now and need cash so I can save up for Falls 2018 or Spring 2019. So I went on to apply any where that includes Macys, JcPenney, Bloomingdales, Primark, Staples, Starbucks, HomeDepot, Lowes, and so on. I am amazed they wont hire me. So I created a fake resume and removed the small business store I worked for and put I used to work at Macys and Starbucks and offers started coming in to the fake account.

Everything from the fake account is the same as my real resume just name change and place of work. The description of jobs task and skills are similar.

I am looking to getting back into college to start a career. Right now I can't intern since I am not a student. Any advice with what I should do. I am willing to work with min wage just to save up and pay for school but nobody is hiring. I have no internet present, no criminal records, google my name only shows a whitepages. I paid to do a background search on my self and nothing that would hurt my chances.
