German in US Grad School - Networking Opportunities wanted

Hi there,

just quickly wanted to introduce myself.
I am a 23 year-old German. I recently graduated from a private university in Germany with a bachelors in Management & Economics. I am currently publishing a research paper on asset pricing (and/or long-short strategy for hedge funds) using ff3 regressions in a back-testing.

This summer I will be interning in Fixed-Income Research for a smaller German Bank, that was originally a sole Private Wealth Bank and is increasing IB activities in London, Frankfurt, and New York.

After that I will attend US Business School either at Simon, Booth, or Tepper (thats still open).

In the long-term perspective I am seeking employment in a quantitative hedge fund. I hope I can make some connections through WSO and get some advice what skills and experiences would be most beneficial to get there. Also if anyone is interested in my research work I would be happy to have conversations and share some thoughts.

Best wishes

Marshall
