Greetings, fellow banana-getters

I’ve been skimming WSO for a bit, always amazed at the high-value advice that gets thrown around, and finally decided to sign up and jump in. I also love the frequent American Psycho references.

Full disclosure: I’m not in PE / VC / ER / the other acronyms; I’m in private banking / wealth management, but “stuck” in the very non-sexy retail channel of a top-five US bank. I have the series 7, 66, and CFP designation.

Personal: living in LA with my girl, 6-month old baby (first one), and besides that, I love MMA.

Here’s what I have on my mind-grapes right now: I’m ironing out my MBA plan-of-attack and considering my next career-move. This means I keep going down the PWM path (relationship management or UHNW strategy / planning), jump within the company to comm banking, try to break into MM banking (long-shot), or go into tech sales.

… just a guy in a monkey suit trying to be a good father, not completely neglect his significant other, get an MBA, make millions, positively change the world, achieve happiness, and get a six pack. Anyone with me? I hope we all get to party together sometime.
