Hello Everyone - Pursuing another course?

Hello guys and gals I've been reading the forums before I got the "courage" to post, and I have enjoyed the cross talk. I do have a question since I don't think anyone has asked it before so here we go....I am an active duty military guy with over 20 years of service. I finished my undergrad last year, and started my MBA. I would like to enter the world of IB since I love the teamwork, challenge, and relationship building aspects of the industry. What I am trying to figure out is whether with my drawbacks (age/non-top school/etc.), should I continue to seek out a position in IB or give up the dream and pursue another course? Thanks for the feedback.

Time for you to do some board cruising. The answer here is if you want to do banking bad enough, you will start kicking ass in class and start beating down doors, refusing to take no as an answer until you land a banking gig. I get pretty tired of hearing the non-target sob fest. The majority of people on this board are non/semi/mid-tier schools with x, y, or z drawback. A am once said "Losers always whine about their best... Winners go home and fuck the prom queen."
