Intro - High School Senior

Hi,

I am a rising high school senior in the United States who likes math and is interested in finance. I joined WSO to learn more about the finance industry, as I do not know anyone in the field. I am applying to colleges this fall and plan to major in something related to finance.

I have taken several math courses at college (while in HS), including multivariable calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and abstract algebra. I will be taking a complex analysis course in the fall, along with my first economics course.

Some schools that I have been looking at include Cornell and Carnegie Mellon. I would really appreciate some advice on how to get into trading/IBD.

Thanks

Thanks, I have been looking into it. Any other recommendations? (particularly things to do in college)
