Introducing myself I am new to wso

Hello,

My name is John I am new to WSO, a friend of mine who is a CPA recommended this website to me. I am currently a full time student at a community college about to graduate. I have already applied to universities that interest me. I haven't taken any finance classes yet, but I was looking to major in it once I get to university level schooling. I am here to get a better understanding of the finance world, and look around at different options having a finance degree will bring me. I am the first in my family to go to college so I don't have people I know personally I could ask for information and advice. Most of the information I know was from researching it myself. That's about all I can think of right now, I am looking forward to meeting other members of the community and learning everything I can from the resources provided here.
