Introducing myself - International student studying in New York

Hi everyone,

I'm a sophomore currently majoring in Accounting and Finance and I came across this forum. As an international student studying in NY, I thought that it would be easier for me to get a job here by getting a CPA then getting into one of the Big Four. I know nothing for Finance but my initial goal was to eventually go into corporate finance for its flexibility. However, after meeting so many people from various financial services, I'm starting to become more interested in fields like sales and trading, investment banking, and wealth management, but I feel like I'm behind on so many things like the recruitment process and the types of various jobs and technicals that I need to know.

Any suggestions, ideas, or comments are greatly appreciated.
