Just Introducing myself

Hey guys ,
My name is Rayan and in this thread I'll introduce myself as asked by WSO but I warn you first that this will be quite long.

First I'm 16 and I live in France (yeah effeil tower, fromage , cuisine ...) with my mother and my sister , my dad lives with his new wife an my step bro away from my mom's home , my mom arent really wealthy , she's neither poor nor rich, I'm quite tall , athletic , black chocolate (yum !) and handsome of course (kidding!). I have a life quite balanced , I jogg every morning at 5 am , have a social life filled. I'm keen on your country , I always dreamed to be an american since I'm a kid , I'm passionate about your history , I study a lot of it everyday , also I love when my dad tells me about your economy history , how you managed to get the entire world into your pocket cause of the system you set up ( Bretton Woods agreement etc...) it is beside very brilliant but indeed a bit Machiavellist , I investigate as well about the black chapter ( slavery , the war of the caspian oil and gas etc...) your History in itself is a Masterpiece ! That where my passions about finance and exonomy came from .
I'm in 11 grade and feel concerned about my future , I have an average Grade of 15 out of 20 (it's in the vicinity of a 4.0 GPA and a grade of A in the English system) that's pretty good but not enough to get into HSY or other top US B-School I think , I want so bad to study in US during my undergraduate and postgraduate cycle but as you might know study in undergraduate for an international student is kind of big deal , and the main issue is that I assume I'm not good enough to get a grant from any school and my parents aren't wealthy enough to pay tuition ( 50k a year I cant get how on earth could somebody pay so much for a single year , in France public schools are somehow free) , since I'll definitely won't be able to attend an undergraduate US school , I have planned to apply to a "prestigious" Canadian school McGill in BCom and try then to apply to a top MBA cause since I'm French I will pay as much as local students for the tuition fees .

That being said my purpose is to do iB in Wall Street in order make the life of my mom and my family remaining in africa easier (live over there is very tough) , I don't want in particular to make money however it is require to achieve my goal , I've signed up in WSO in order to collect your precious advices and tips and why not give mine when I'll work as a banker , but also to have the pleasure of chatting with genuine Americans (for most of you) already in the business , and the success story I've seen in this site made my headline stronger.

That's it ! I hope that weren't too long to read and that we shall soon be talking !

Best Regards , a Monkey.

Post Scriptum : you guys of WSO are doing an amazing work , keep on doing it this way!
