Looking for advice on internship in European

Hi, I am in the first year in a graduate program in a French business school. My bachelor major is engineering. Now i am looking for a summer internship. I want to work in the buy side for my future career, and i am interested in equity research. It has been a little late for this internship application. Which type of company is better for me, investment bank or others? Could give me some name of these companies? Thank you very much!
