hey guys,

I had this account awhile ago, but am just posting for the first time. I'm really interested in IB, PE, and VC and just trying to break into the industry. I'm coming from a non-target state school, but have been getting lucky with work experience up to this point. Last summer I worked in financial planning with a large firm learning a ton about comprehensive planning and cold calling and over my winter break now, I'm working in NYC with a financial analyst analyzing cash flows and looking at 2014 budgets for a big chain of department stores in my area.

Right now, I'm just looking for advice on how to best get on track for an IB analyst job after college because everyone is telling me with that, I could move onto whatever type of job I want.
