New to WSO and looking for advice on a career change.

Hi WSO, I am new to the forum and would like to start of by getting some advice and opinions. I am currently a mortgage underwriter and am not seeing myself in this position or business long term. I am 24 and would really like to make my way into commercial or corporate banking. The only real problem I have is that I currently hold a degree in English.

I am starting to network, and I am going to sign up for accounting classes. But is anyone aware of a good way I could quickly set myself apart and get on a more suitable career path? I feel that the accounting classes will only be as good as how the material learned can be applied to my work. Thanks in advance and I look forward to being part of this forum.
