Newbie from Nebraska

Hi everyone!

I wanted to join WSO because I want to learn more about management consulting. I was approached by someone in undergrad, but turned them down at the time for graduate school. Now I have my masters in hand and a Ph.D on the way, and I've found myself reading about consulting again. Something about the second time around has really caught my interest and I want to dive in and learn all I can... where else could be better?

I don't have any experience in it, (did anyone?) but I know how to do research, frame a problem and come up with a list of steps to try and figure it out. I'm excited to learn from you all and prepare myself for a new career path that I might have dismissed too quickly before.
