Newbie here, looking to break into wall street, lol.

Hello,

I was never quite sure of what I wanted to do after graduation (spoiled brat), now I have worked for 2 years (25 years old now) as a Market Research Analyst at a small/medium sized (75 employees and 7 locations) company in LA (since it's an Asian Company, I don't really get any experience and my boss would leave all her wok to me and take multiple breaks). I see that the pay and life style isn't for me.

I recently visited SF and met up my friends from in highschool (small group reunion) and found out the following,

1 had a tech start up, and successfully sold his app.
1 moved from WellsFargo as Personal Banker to Citi Private Bank (back office paper work).
1 traveled/worked in Israel for 1 year, and another year in Shenzhen, China.
1 works as a Portfolio Associates at Bridgewater Associates.

As it seems they are all quite happy with their lives and at least on the right way to where they would like to go. I guess I would just like to find my way : )
Remember I've always wanted to go to NYC and works at Wall Street, but never have the proper motivation or dare I say the lack of discipline.
