Oily Monkey Swinging Into the Concrete Jungle

Hi there, I'm a Year 1 undergrad in the midst of my business degree. I found this website while reading up on the world of investment banking as it is the most attractive career prospect and the purpose of joining this community is to start early, and start learning from those who are willing to share about their experiences in the workplace, as well as interview tips - an area I am quite weak in. But constantly upgrading and improving oneself is part of the game, and I am up to the challenge.

As I am already starting to look for future career prospects, I want to start early hopefully gain an edge over my peers, as I think none of them make the effort to gain entry into this learned community of like-minded people.

Apart from Investment Banking, I am also interested in learning how to break into the Oil and Gas trading industry, as it is something I want to explore as a career path. Since I am in my 1st Year, I would have the luxury of time to choose, but I hope this site would help me make an informed decision of what I want out of my future.

Hopefully I will gain more insights and allow me to be well-equipped to get a good internship with one of the bulge bracket firms in Singapore, where I am currently based.

Looking forward to learn more from you guys!
