Pre Med Intending to go into banking or Consulting

Hello folks, I'm currently a pre med undergrad in a non target and am actually a little late in the game. I've arrived in the country only 8 years prior and havent even heard of what a non commercial banker is (IB,PE and etc) until I arrived in college, or even what an ivy league is (come from a severely shitty 3rd world background with physician family) until 2nd year of high school. the truth is I'm currently doing medicine because it pays well and my family sort of groomed me to it and according to most people in the industry, it is "reasonably stable". I will be honest, from my exposure to private practicioners and to hospitaliers, I'm not a fan of the industry, the work interests me, but the industry culture and everything is giving me some doubts. I have no idealized view of bankers, or their lifestyle but the people who work in banking (yes, I know, they have a different mindset, worldview and for the most part background) are more interesting to me. I've taken mic mac in hs and am only now considering actually being a banker. I'm a little late in the game and if this doesnt pan out might end up doing an MD MBA then my residency and seeing if I can break into the industry later on probably via consulting, I heard stories that people in MBB stand a better chance of doing so and have heard stories of people like Joseph Chip skowron III (he has his flaws but he made the transition from MD) were able to do it. Any thoughts? suggestions? I would really appreciate if there are any pre meds, or former doctors who could give me a proper answer about this.

-thnx everyone!
