what are the average SAT scores and high school GPA's for investment bakers? not to sound condescending but are they the smartest in the fields?

Generally speaking because of the nature of recruiting analysts will have high scores due to most of them getting into target schools.
That being said, we are far from the smartest in the field. Beyond analyst recruiting, backgrounds will vary pretty wildly.
in Canada 3.9+ required for IBD
MIT quant guys are the smartest. Also, SAT scores don't gauge your intelligence.
Investment baking is serious business. You need at least a 5.0 GPA
