Sophmore in Canada

Hi all,

I am currently studying at McGill University in Canada, majoring in Finance with a minor in International Development. However, I am originally from London, England and have had some experience working in The City and in Canary Wharf.

I have done work experience at Morgan Stanley (2 weeks, real estate), Fitch Solutions (1 week), J.P Morgan (1 week, Delta One Trading) and Thomson Reuters (4 weeks, Sales). I know these are very brief stints but I have enjoyed my experiences and really learned a lot.

I got poor grades in first year and average last semester, so now my main focus is to boost my GPA and try get some more experience over the summer.

Aside from that I take part in case competitions, which I really enjoy (managed to win some), am involved with AIESEC and play rugby for the university.

I'm looking through WSO to try and find the best steps to secure a summer internship next year and may apply to the SEO intern position this year.
