Starting at an ATL Boutique

I've been on the sight for a few months now, but I've recently become more active and thought it was time for an introduction.

I'm currently a senior in undergrad at Goizueta business school that will be graduating and working for a local boutique starting this summer. I'm excited for the opportunity and look forward to learning as much as I can at the firm.

Unlike most other undergrads I know researching banking, I never applied to a BB. I'm interested in a long-haul in the banking industry and know that I will be given a lot of responsibility and opportunities to learn hands-on at this firm. I also plan on attending a JD/MBA joint program in the future as well as earning my CFA. I see this first position as an opportunity to learn and gain experience with client-work rather than a permanent ladder to climb or the entrance to an exit op. I'm really just trying to learn as much as possible about finance and the industry while I'm still young.

This may seem like overkill to some, but I guess I'm just nerdy like that (also a student athlete and was the social chair of my fraternity, so there's a little balance at least).

I'm excited to be a part of the community looking forward. I really enjoy reading through some of the material on the site in my free time.
