Thanks and Hello!

I finally joined WSO, so I could start interacting with everyone. I have to say I'm quite excited! I've been reading this site for 2 years now off and on.

Just a little about me...

My name is Shannon. I graduated in May of 2012 from SIUC with a B.S. in Finance and Specialization in Investments. While at SIUC, I was in the Saluki Student Investment Fund, where we managed approximately $1m in the S&P 400 MidCap.

I'm currently searching for my first position in Finance. I'm hoping to get into ER someday soon.

I look forward to speaking with everyone! Thanks so much for the wonderful advice that you have already shared with me. I hope that I can return the favor soon. :)
