Wading through the bullshit

I'm interning at Big 4 right and currently trying to just learn as much as possible. I figured out a couple years ago that I knew I wanted to be in the accounting/finance industry. Currently just looking at career prospects but for now I know I'll stay at my gig pending a full time offer. I don't really have a specific enough direction because, well I guess because I'm too lazy to do any serious research into career fields. But I find this shit fascinating and hopefully before the end of college I will have more direction. I mean, I hear people talk about IB a lot and all I really know is that you make a lot of money but also work your life away, sometimes literally. If you guys have a direction to point me in, go for it.
