What is the right path for HF or AM?

Hi everyone. I'm not a new user but I had never introduced myself to this community. I am an Italian undergraduate student and I'll graduate this summer. Then, from September, I will attend a Master in Management from a top tier Business School in Europe. During my first year, I'll study core management courses, but in the second year I'll choose a specialization which will be finance. I am very passionate about AM and HF and would like to have a career in the industry. So, what is the right path I should follow to break in HF/AM?

Note that I had a short internship in a small local bank (covering Asset Management, wealth management, macro research, fund analysis) and during my master I'll have to do at least two internships (40 weeks of work are mandatory). Also, if it could be useful info, I won't live in Italy during my second year, but I will move to Paris (and maybe also to London). Thank you in advance for your replies.
