What should I expect?

Hello all,

I love this fourm, wish I knew about this earlier. To keep it simple basically I know nothing about finance at least not yet. I am an econ major and my family has deep connection in China.
One of my uncles run the import scene in Shanghai and another is similar to a mayor in a smaller city near shanghai. When he heard that I was majoring in econ, he said that he could get me an internship at a BB as an analyst. I said sure, without actually knowing what I need to do. Anyways, he set me up through his connection with an executive at a BB in China and I'm offered an internship this summer. Since, I know nothing about finance i asked if I could get a friend to come along as well. They agreed, but me and my friend both don't really know anything about finance. We don't come from targeted schools nor do we have the best grades. I've been studying finance models and all these things feel kind of confusing to me. What should I be learning on my free time now so that I don't make my uncle look bad when I start the intern?

Thank you
