How to make friends and find potential long term partner as a 25-year-old American

I'm an American and recently relocated to London through work. I'm 25 and will be in London for 2 years. My apartment is in Marylebone.

I don’t have many connections here yet, but I’m enjoying getting to know the city. After some ups and downs with Hinge back in New York, I’ve realized I’m ready to find someone I genuinely connect with — ideally someone who shares a similar background and values, including family upbringing and education. I think that kind of shared foundation helps build something more meaningful.

So what activities should I attend/what should I do to help me achieve that? Thanks in advance guys.
