Banks Health Insurance Coverage UK

I was wondering what the health coverage is for banks in the UK specifically. We have the NHS, but how does the private coverage differ, and whether or not is it really any better. Also, is one insurer better than another among AXA, Bupa, etc.?

All an insurer does is pay for you to see a private practitioner. You could go see one yourself if you wanted to, you'd just have to pay for it.

Private healthcare is obviously faster and sometimes better quality.

The bank negotiates all the insurance terms (of which there are multiple tiers depending on how much tax you want to pay) so can't really tell if there's a "better" provider from the outside.
