Mostly along the lines of what you can do there in August, best places to party, places you can travel to nearby for cheap, where to stay cheap that's not a hostel, how easy it is to meet people if I go alone, etc.
Was just there for a week, amazing experience. If you don't mind hostels stay at Milhouse. Its truly incredible. The city is a bit cold right now, but food is great, night life is fantastic, architecture is beautiful and all in all just a sick city.
how many bankers go there?! i've always wanted to check it out, but hope its isn't a pastiche of NYC banker culture...

Found that milhouse place while looking for hostels a while back cuz I figured 150 buks for a week would be an easy sell to my friends. Then I realized a round trip flight from NYC was like 1500 if I'm not mistaken.... there went that idea, lol.
I dated an Argentine for 5+ years and have been to BA 4x. Going for a fifth trip in a couple months...

For those of us who don't speak Spanish, do the young people (college aged/those in their 20s) there speak much English? Or if I'm at a bar would I have to know a decent amount of Spanish to be able to have a real conversation with most people?
