Cringy spring ''Intern'' GF

Saw a TikTok where some girl’s flexing about her man’s “internship” in London, acting like he’s running deals at Goldman. Said they’re staying at a 5-star hotel and she’s shopping all week on his card.

I was on the same spring week. It’s 99% it's a spring I was on, not even BB/Eb, it's MM. Also, the hotel isn’t even 5-star, it’s a 4-star. Bro is doing icebreakers, not IPOs.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to post something like this. It’s just so crass, vain and uncouth, especially considering she isn’t even the one attending the spring week. It took me all of five minutes to figure out which one of my fellow "interns" was the boyfriend.

If HR sees this, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up blacklisted. I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to have guests staying in accommodation paid for by the firm, not him, and the overall vulgarity of the post can't reflect well on the firm's image.

Crazy how far spring "interns" have fallen. It used to just be a clean LinkedIn post with a big logo saying “excited to have accepted an offer for Goldman Stanley’s Spring Insight Programme.”

What is Santander, a cocktail?

Yes - and one that only the elite drink.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

saw her tiktok account, my only question is - how's he done that then?
