Dentist appt while working in IB
I just joined as a 1st Year Analyst in IB.
While I had to go to the doctor for some urgent stuff during my Summer internship without having any issue whatsoever, I was wondering about the scenario in which I would have to have i.e., a wisdom tooth removed.
I had my two bottom teeth removed in high school (the upper two hadn't grown yet), but I am fearful that the remaining ones (of which one has grown out completely) will start hurting and I might have to remove them while working.
Will I take a sick day off the day of surgery and then come back to the office looking like a roblox for a week? Will it be super awkward?
100% sure I shouldn't be tripping about this but want to hear opinions!
FWIW, maybe it's just me but when I hear dentist/doctor's appointment in IB I immediately think that person has an interview elsewhere. I've used that excuse several times and will continue to do so.
