Every Recruiter is Latvian - CONSPIRACY???

Guys, I need to get this of my chest, because it starts to creep me out: So I've been talking all year long with recruiters - as one does - and most of them were from London. Fine, not judging. But I've started to notice a really eerie trend that keeps robbing me of my sleep: Every, and I mean literally every recruiter I interact with - is Latvian! Now, not hating on Latvians here, but can anyone explain this? Wherever I look, in my DMs, in my inbox, it's full of -ovs, -ovas, -ovichs, -nas, of Olgas and Felikses, of Katyas and Valentins, from Riga U and "Baltic Business School". Just what the fuck? Is there some international cabal of Latvians hogging the Pinpoint Partners and IKL Partners of this world? What is up with that?

Latvians themselves aren't Slavs, they're Balts, although a quarter or so of Latvian citizens are Russians by ethnicity.

Yeah I've noticed this too OP

It believe its mainly just 1 old lonely latvian OG, probably former senior manager of pinpoint or something, sitting behind his screen all day who has historically made dozens and dozens of other latvians spam email servers with listings. I've been seeing these accounts spam my email inbox since 2012, only to realize 80%+ is coming from the same ex-pinpoint staff. They sometimes even seem to compete with or contradict one another on the same listing, despite the fact that they're all the same ex-pinpoint staff

Once upon a time, in a quirky and whimsical world, there was a peculiar phenomenon where all recruiters were of Latvian origin. It all began with a magical event that transpired centuries ago.

In a hidden forest in the heart of Latvia, there existed an ancient oak tree known as the "Tree of Connections." This remarkable tree had unique properties, as its roots reached deep into the earth, connecting it to people from various corners of the world. Legend had it that the tree was a conduit of fate and destiny, influencing the career paths of individuals.

One fateful night, during a celestial alignment, the tree absorbed the cosmic energies from the stars. This infusion of celestial power transformed the tree's guardian, a Latvian named Laimonis, into a being with unparalleled skills in matchmaking. Laimonis discovered that he had the ability to connect people with their dream jobs, creating harmonious professional relationships.

As word of this miraculous tree and Laimonis's incredible abilities spread, people from across the globe traveled to Latvia seeking his guidance. The once-hidden forest became a bustling hub for job seekers and employers, who believed in the tree's magic.

Over the years, the reputation of the Latvian recruiters grew, and Laimonis trained a group of devoted apprentices, each with a natural aptitude for career matchmaking. These apprentices became the first-generation Latvian recruiters, gifted with the ability to understand the unique qualities and aspirations of every job applicant.

Their reputation for being the best in the field grew far and wide, and soon, recruiters from Latvia were in high demand worldwide. The Latvian recruiters became known for their extraordinary ability to bring jobseekers and employers together in perfect harmony, fulfilling both parties' dreams and goals.

And so, it was through this mystical connection to the Tree of Connections that the world came to believe that all recruiters should be Latvian, as they possessed the secret to the perfect match. Though the world remained full of wonder and curiosity, it was in Latvia that the magic of the Tree of Connections thrived, and the Latvian recruiters continued to flourish in their unique role, uniting people in their professional destinies.

How come these spammers, who seem to almost all come from Lativian origin, have nothing better to do than to bump job listings in our email servers all f*cking day?

Nowadays any time I see some long af descriptions come from one of the dozens of ex-PinPoint accounts, I don’t even read their paragraphs anymore
